What is a brow lamination?

• A brow lamination is a treatment to your brow hairs that involves resetting the hairs into a desired shape. It creates a uniform, brushed-up look that can help fill in gaps and help the brows appear fuller.

How long does a brow lamination last?

• Typically, a brow lamination lasts 6-8 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and aftercare practices. 

Can I get a brow lamination if i have sensitive skin?

• Yes, but it is very important to consult with your artist beforehand to ensure you are suitable for this treatment. While the solution is mostly on your hair, it is also on your skin and can create some dryness if you are prone to it.

How long does the treament take?

• It takes anywhere from 30-60 minutes, depending on the stubborness of your hair and if you are also getting them tinted, which is recommened with this treatment. 

How long does brow tinting last?

• Brow tinting usually lasts 3-4 weeks, depending on skin type, hair growth, and aftercare. You are welcome to get tints every 3 weeks if you are on a 6 week lamination schedule.

Is brow tinting safe?

• Yes, brow tinting is safe. The dye is vegetable-based and relatively mild. 

Does brow tint stain the skin?

• Only temporarly, the tint will fade from the skin within a few days and the hair will remain tinted for 3-4 weeks. 

Are there any side effects of brow laminations?

• Some people may experience redness, sensitivity, or dryness after the treatment, but this usually subsides quickly with proper aftercare. 

Can I wax my eyebrows the same day as a brow lamination appointment?

• No, you will want to wax your brows a minimum of 48 hours before or after your lamination. Your artist may tweeze a few stray hairs for you, but the skin is too sensitive to be waxed the same day as treatment.

What should I avoid before a brow lamination?

• For a minimum of 48 hours prior to your lamination, avoid excessive sun exposure, skin exfoliation around the brows, and no brow waxing.

How can I maintain my brows after lamination?

• Brush your brows into place daily. Make sure to follow aftercare instructions, regularly use brow oil and/or serum to keep the hairs healthy and hydrated. Avoid harsh products or scrubbing around the brow area.
