Coming to your service appointment properly prepared will allow for maximum time for the artist to complete your service and give you the best possible results!

Proper maintenance of your lashes, brows, etc. will allow for the longest lasting and best possible results!

Lash Extensions

Lash Extensions

Preparation

  • Come with clean, makeup free eyes. Eye makeup residue can interfere with the bonding process.

  • Avoid oil products on your eye area for 24 hours before your appointment. 

  • Skip eye creams or facial moisturizers the day of your appointment. 

  • Limit Caffeine Intake the day of your appointment, as too much can make your eyes jittery.

Aftercare

For best retention follow these steps:

  • Avoid getting lashes wet, saunas, and steam for 24 hours following service.

  • Avoid rubbing, touching, pulling, or twisting lashes.

  • Gently brush lashes daily to avoid tangling.

  • Cleanse lashes regularly with lash extension cleanser and a brush.

  • Wash directly after sweating or exposure to salt water or chlorine.

  • Avoid all oil-based products.

  • Do not use cotton products like Q-Tips or cotton rounds on or around lashes.

  • Avoid mascara and liquid eyeliner at all costs.

  • Sleep on your back.

  • Avoid direct heat: hairdryers, dishwashers, ovens, etc.

  • Do not use eye lash curlers or scissors to cut or trim lashes.

  • DO: get regular fills every 2-3 weeks for optimal results.

  • Avoid oil-based products, exfoliants, and heavy creams around the brow and eye are for 24 hours before your appointment.

Aftercare

How to make your tint last as long as possible!

  • Avoid getting tinted hair wet for 24-48 hours.

  • Avoid excess sunlight.

  • Avoid oil-based skincare products.

  • Avoid hot water.

  • Avoid over touching/ rubbing tinted hair/ area.

Lash Lamination

Lash Lamination/ Lift

Preparation

  • Arrive with clean and makeup-free eyes and lashes. 

  • Avoid using an eyelash curler for a minimum of 24 hours before your appointment. 

  • Limit caffeine on the day of your appointment to prevent jittery eyes.

Aftercare

24-48 hours following lamination service:

  • No makeup/ makeup removers on lashes

  • No oils, serums, or facial products on lashes

  • Avoid sleeping on your face or side with your lashes pushed into your pillow

  • No sleep masks

  • Avoid steam from showers, saunas, dishwashers, and ovens.

  • No facial spa services with steam or products that will come into contact with lashes.

 

After 48 hours following lamination/lift service:

  • Consider a lash serum like Elleeplex to help nourish & strength lashes

  • Avoid waterproof mascara as it can be difficult to remove without damaging the lift, consider mascara like Elleevate that contains Arginine, Keratin & Biotin for strong healthy lash growth

Brow Lamination

Preparation

  • Arrive with clean and makeup-free brows.

  • Avoid using brow products, oils, or creams on or around your brows the day of your appointment.

  • Refrain from waxing or tweezing a minimum of 48 hours before your treatment. 

  • Avoid exfoliating, or using harsh skincare products (scrubs, acids, and retinols) on or around your brows for a minimum of 24 hours before your treatment.. 

Aftercare

  • No exfoliation, makeup removers, retinols, AHA’s, BHA’s, or steroid creams on skin around brows for 48 hours.

  • Avoid wetting brow hairs for 24-48 hours.

  • After wetting brows for the first time after initial wait period, it is necessary to brush brows gently back into desired place and shape.

  • Avoid touching brows for 24-48 hours.

  • Avoid saunas, steam from showers and dishwashers whenever possible.

  • The use of a styling product and nourishing serum, like Elleeplex, is recommended to maintain results.

Waxing

Waxing

Preparation

  • Arrive with clean and makeup-free skin in the areas to be waxed.

  • Avoid using oils or heavy creams the day of your appointment. 

  • Refrain from exfoliating products (scrubs or acids) for 2-5 days prior to waxing. 

  • Do not use retinoids or similar products for 3-5 days before your appointment to prevent skin lifting. 

  • Avoid sun exposure for 24 hours prior to your appointment. 

Aftercare

24-48 hours following waxing service:

  • Avoid touching or scratching waxed area

  • Do not exfoliate area or apply harsh skin products

  • Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and swimming in chlorinated water.

  • If sunlight is unavoidable wear SPF or sun protective clothing.

  • Avoid hot water.

  • Avoid heat and profuse sweating/ workouts.

Dermaplaning

Preparation

  • Arrive with clean and makeup-free skin.

  • Avoid oils, creams, and skincare products the day of your appointment.

  • Avoid sun exposure for 48 hours prior to treatment to minimize sensitivity.

  • Do not use exfoliating products (scrubs, acids, or retinols) for a minimum of 3 days prior to treatment. 

  • Avoid shaving or waxing your face for a week before your appointment. 

Aftercare

Your skin will be sensitive for up to 1 week post dermaplane

  • Use a gentle cleanser with lukewarm water twice daily

  • Apply a hydrating serum or moisturizer with clean hands as needed

  • Protect from the sun by using SPF 30 or higher for a minimum of 1 week

  • Avoid exfoliating or harsh products (no retinols or scrubs) for 72 hours minimum

  • Avoid makeup for 24 hours

  • Avoid chlorine and swimming pools for 48 hours minimum

  • Avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours

  • Avoid touching or scratching your face as much as possible
