Can I get multiple waxing service done at a single appointment?
Yes you can! We offer waxing of the brows, upper-lip, sideburns, cheeks, and chin waxing. We also offer full-face waxing that will include all areas outside of the brows.
What kind of wax do you use?
We use both soft and hard wax depending on the area that is being waxed, as well as your skin and hair type.
How long does the hair need to be for waxing?
For optimal results, hair should be 1/4 inch long. This usually means waiting about 2-4 weeks after shaving or other hair removal methods. This does depend on your natural hair growth patterns.
How long do results last?
Results can can vary anywhere from 3-6 weeks, depending on your individual growth cycles. Overtime, you may notice your hair comes in sparser with continued and regular waxing.
Can I wax my face if I have sensitive skin?
Yes, but its important to consult with a doctor/dermatologist if you have concerns.
What should I do before my waxing appointment?
Avoid exfoliation, retinoids, and sun exposure for at least 48 hours before your waxing appointment. Arriving with clean and makeup-free skin is also recommended.
What should I expect after my waxing appointment?
Some may expierence redness or irritation following getting waxed that usually subsides within a few hours of your appointment. After waxing, you will need to avoid sun exposure, excessive sweating, and harsh skincare products or exfoliation for at least 24 hours.
Can I wax over acne or skin irritations?
It is best to avoid waxing over active breakouts, cuts, or skin irritations. Please discuss any skin concers with your artist before your appointment.
Is facial waxing painful?
The pain level can vary from person to person. Many clients describe the sensation as a sharp sting that quickly subsides after the wax is pulled and the hair has been removed.
