Foreign Fills
Did you get eyelash extensions at another studio, but now you are looking to change studios?
Of course we would love to have you come to Lashology! Due to very different lashing techniques by artists in the industry, changing from one studio to another can be a bit more challenging. Our artists will need to start with an initial assessment to determine whether or not they will be able to work "over" your existing lashes. Here at Lashology we value damage-free lashing that prioritizes lash health, and so our artists may determine they cannot safely lash around your existing lashes, in which case they can discuss alternative solutions with you.
We have 3 basic routes to moving to our studio:
1. You can schedule an initial consultation where one of our artists will just do the initial consultation with an assessment of your existing lashes, and then they can book a specific lash fill appointment for you based on your style, the number of weeks out, and accounting for any adjustments that need to be made to your existing lashes. This option is more specific to your individual needs but will require two visits to get in for the fill.
2. You can schedule the initial consultation in combination with a fill appointment to have them done at the same time; however, this option requires a $50 non-refundable deposit to cover the time for the assessment and time being blocked off on the artist's schedule if the fill cannot be performed. If our artist feels a fill can be safely performed at the appointment then the $50 deposit will be applied to the cost of the fill appointment.
3. You can book back-to-back appointments of a Lash Extension Removal and New Client Full-Set. If your current lashes were applied improperly and our artists cannot safely lash around them, this will likely be the necessary way to transition to our studio.

Book a 30 minute consultation to discuss options with an artist where she will access the application of your existing lashes and book you for an appropriate foreign fill appointment.*
*Note: these appointments have extra time added from a normal fill appointments due to making adjustments to existing extensions

Option 2: Consultation with Fill
To simplify the process of booking an initial foreign fill appointment we have created a single booking based just on the lash extension style regardless of the number of weeks. If your artist feels she can safely lash over your existing extensions she will fill as many lashes as possible during the appointment time.* After this initial appointment you will be able to book regular fills as a returning client based on the number of weeks.
*Note: these appointments are timed for approximately an average of about a 2 week foreign fill plus consultation time

Please keep in mind when booking this appointment, if our artists do not feel like they can safely perform a fill over your lash extensions you will still be charged $50 as outlined in our Foreign Fill Policy (see below), you will NOT be charged the full appointment amount.
If we can't lash over your current extensions, usually the alternative will require the removal of your current extensions and booking a new full set, if you choose to go with this option, we will deduct $50 from the cost of your removal + new client full set appointment as a curtesy for choosing to move forward with our studio.

Foreign Fill Policy
At Lashology, we are committed to providing the highest quality service. To ensure a smooth transition to our studio, we ask you please adhere to the following policies if you are receiving a service from us where you still have lash extensions that were applied by another studio.
Lash Quality Assessment
We care about your lash health! Therefore, we reserve the right to refuse service if the current extensions are deemed unsuitable for a fill. This will most likely occur if your previous lash extensions were applied using improper or unsafe techniques. In such cases, we will discuss alternative options for you!
Appointment Duration
Foreign Fills typically require longer appointment times due to the assessment and adjustment of existing lash extensions. Please book a “Foreign Fills” appointment for the appropriate amount of time to ensure our artists have enough time for your service.
Non-Refundable Deposit
To secure your appointment, a non-refundable deposit of $50 is required at the time of booking. This deposit will be deducted from the total cost of service. If your artist is unable to work over your existing lashes due to unsafe or improper application, this deposit will not be refunded to cover the time of the appointment on our schedules.
