About me:
I grew up in Vancouver, WA (right across the Columbia River from Portland, OR). After graduating college my husband and I moved to San Jose, CA for about 5 years where we had our first daughter- Gabriella. We moved to Castle Rock, CO in 2013 when I was pregnant with our second daughter- Roslyn. We had our third daughter, Colette, in 2016 and our fourth and final, Isla, in 2019.
In college I got my degree in Biology in 2008, and my Master's degree in Teaching Science Education in 2014. I chose to stay home with our kids until January 2022 when I went back to teaching. I taught Biology and Chemistry at Legend High School in Parker, CO for a few years, but it turned out it just wasn't the right time for our family. Spending 70- 80 hours a week working when you have 4 kids ranging from Kindergarten to High School was just too much for our family!
We decided buying a business might be a better fit for our family, so in the Fall of 2023 we bought the Lashology Business! I had already enjoyed getting my lashes done for years, so while I'm not a trained lash artist, I was certainly familiar as a customer! We took our time getting familiar with the in's and out's of the business, and in the summer of 2024 we decided to move into a bigger suite in the building, and undertook a massive renovation to create a beautiful, posh new studio space!
Running the business, with my wonderful manger Sarah, has been a much better fit for our family at this point in my life. This team has taught me so much and I value my artists like part of our family! I love this business and the team of fantastic women, and I hope to work to continue to improve and grow the business to even more amazing heights!
